Arlene D. Shollenberger, 99, of Emmaus, died Aug. 16, 2017. She was the wife of the late Eugene W. Shollenberger, who died Nov. 22, 2003. Born in Emmaus, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jennie (Diefenderfer) Stortz.

She was a faithful member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church of Emmaus, where she participated in many events over the years. She especially enjoyed working with the children at Victory Valley Camp.

She loved to travel. One of the highlights of her travels was a trip to Germany. She enjoyed going to Rehoboth Beach, Del., with her entire family.

She is survived by a son, Eugene G. and his wife Connie; daughters, Nancy S. and her husband Elmer Long, Jane E. and her husband Theron Bastian and Joan E. and her husband Edward Kollar, all of Emmaus; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey R.
