Sonia C. Geiger, 90, formerly of Slatington, died on Aug. 18, 2017, in Lehigh Center, Macungie, where she was residing.

She was the wife of the late Calvin C. Geiger.

Born Feb. 28, 1927, in Slatington, she was the daughter of the late Allen D. and Minerva M. (Benninger) Evans.

She was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

Her survivors include a daughter Christine C. Deprill of Slatington; sister Elinor A. Miller of Colorado; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

She was predeceased by a daughter Linda J. and sons Larry L. and Calvin C. Jr.
