Joan Young, 82, from Allentown, died July 31, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She and her husband Robert Young were married 63 years in April.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William and Julia (Weber) Savage.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Sharon Witman and husband, Kurt, of Kutztown; son David at home; brothers William Savage Jr. and Thomas Savage, both of Allentown; sister Fay Hughes of Allentown; and grandchildren, Kyle and Ryan Witman.

Her service will be private.
