Anthony J. “Joe” Cerrone, 89, of New Tripoli, formerly of Allentown, died Aug. 10, 2017, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.
He was the husband of the late Elizabeth M. (Lever) Cerrone.
Born June 13, 1928, in Nazareth, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Katherine (Senneca) Cerrone.
A manager for The Wood Company, Allentown, for 32 years, he retired in 1993.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a member of Howard L. Peter American Legion Post 576, Allentown, and a life member of VFW Post 7215, Walnutport.
His survivors include a daughter Connie Jo Davis and her husband, Allen, of Greenville; son, Anthony J. Cerrone, Jr. and his wife, Maryjane of New Tripoli; sister Pauline Kemmerer and her husband, Robert, of Allentown; grandchildren Wesley and his wife, Rebecca, Ryan and Rachele.
He was predeceased by siblings Carmen and Michael Cerrone, Florence Hoefler and Dorothy Kindt.
