John J. Csencitz, 72, of Lenhartsville, died July 29, 2017, at home.

He and his wife Catherine C. (Holben) Csencitz were married 47 years in June.

Born in Germany, he was a son of the late Joseph and Frieda (Wolfe) Csencitz.

A truck driver for ABF in the Lehigh Valley as well as several other trucking companies, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam.

He was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Tina Laudenslager, and husband, Mark, of Allentown and Patty Seidel and husband, Timothy, of Lenhartsville; brothers Joseph Jr. of Orefield and Robert of Breinigsville; sister Frieda Wagner of Bethlehem; and grandchildren Andrew and Emily Laudenslager.

His services will be private.
