Donald L. Rex, 70, of Germansville, died July 25, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife Beverly A. (Steckel) Rex were married 50 years and 360 days.
Born June 5, 1947, in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Vivian V. (Snyder) Rex.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.
A member of I.B.E.W. Local 375, he was a repair technician for Crowder Jr. Company, Bethlehem, more than 40 years before retiring in 2012.
He was a member of Ebenezer United Church of Christ, New Tripoli.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by children Alan L. Rex (Tammy) of New Tripoli, Jeffrey S. Rex (Laurie) of Breinigsville, Christopher J. Rex (Cheryl) of Kempton, Beth A. Werley (Luke) of New Tripoli; brothers Thomas L. Rex of Germansville, Timothy Rex of Florida; grandchildren Brad, Dylan, Kyle, Kaylee, Karly, John, Morgan, Emily, Lucas and Jake.
He was predeceased by a brother, James L. Rex Sr.
