FUNDRAISER

Parkland High School’s cross-country team is hosting its first Trojan 5K Run/Walk Challenge fundraiser Aug. 20 at the high school.

This race is open to participants 10 and older regardless of skill level.

There is also a 1-mile fun run for those under age 10.

There will be prizes awarded for various race categories.

This fundraiser will help the 100-plus cross-country runners obtain funds for supplies and race entry fees not provided by the school district.
