Herbert F. Hausman

Herbert F. Hausman, 86, of Chesterfield, Mo., formerly of Orefield, died peacefully July 17, 2017, in St. Luke’s Rehabilitation Hospital, Chesterfield.

He and his wife Elva E. (Werley) Hausman celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary on May 30.

Born in Upper Macungie Township, he was the son of the late Howard and Alma (Gresley) Hausman.

He was a frame layouter for Mack Trucks Inc. for 25 years before retiring in 1988.

A former member of Seipstown Grange, he was a member of the Fellowship of Wildwood Church, Wildwood, Mo.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Cynthia, wife of Dr. James Coyle, of Chesterfield, LuAnn, wife of William Miller, of Cumming, Ga.; grandchildren Cynthia, Anna, James and William; brother Ray Hausman and wife, Gloria, of Breinigsville; and sister Jean Daughton of Coldport.

He is predeceased by brothers Charles and Kenneth, and a sister, Betty Evans.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. July 21 at Keller Funeral Home, 1018 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Kenneth Spencer officiating.

Visitation is from 6:30-7:30 p.m. July 20 at the funeral home.
