Robert J. Soldridge Sr., 84, of Slatington, died July 8, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg, Bethlehem.

He and his wife Patricia A. (Seyfried) Soldridge celebrated 56 years of marriage last August.

Born in North Whitehall Township, he was a son of the late Frank and Angela (Bult) Soldridge Sr.

He was employed by the former Beatrice Cheese for 13 years before retiring.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Scott and his wife, Maria, of Slatington and Stephen and his companion, Donna, of Nesquehoning; brother Paul and his wife, Marie, of Coplay; grandchildren Ashley, wife of Heath McDonald, Kristen, Scott Jr., Stephen Jr., Arielle and Heidi; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a son Robert J. Jr. and brothers William, Jimmy and Frank Jr.
