Edna M. Rehrig, 86, of Lynnport, Lynn Township, died June 22, 2017, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

She was predeceased by her husband Martin A. Rehrig Jr. in 1987.

Born in Kunkletown, she was a daughter of the late Gorman R. and Regina M. (Eschbach) Billig Sr.

She was last employed as a custodian at Northwestern Elementary School, from 1980 until retiring in 1995.

Previously, she was employed at the former Wenton Shoe Co., Kutztown, from 1957 to 1980.

She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Jerusalem (Red) Church, Kempton, and also the Lynnport Fire Co. where she was a former vice president of the auxiliary.

Her survivors include a daughter Janet M. wife of Jim Dal Santo, Menominee, Mich.; sisters Eleanor M. (Stanley) Wessner, Anna M. Leslie both of Kutztown, and Annabelle R. Hosler of New Tripoli; brothers Paul G. Billig of New Tripoli, Allen J. Billig and wife, Anna, of Hamburg and Carl A. Billig of Kutztown; granddaughters Denise, Bonnie and Lucinda; great-grandchildren, Randy, Dean and Samantha; great-great granddaughter Sadie; and her longtime companion Russell H. Wambold Jr.

She was predeceased by a brother Gorman R. Billig Jr.
