Susan J. Fields, 58, of Hamburg, died June 13, 2017, in Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of Lillian M. (Kressley) Gressley of New Tripoli and the late Elmer H. Gressley.

She was a caregiver with Comfort Keepers of Berks County for eight years.

A member of the former Northwestern Lehigh Jayceettes, the Kutztown Jaycee Women, and Kutztown Jaycees, she served as the first woman president with that club.

She also served the Pennsylvania Jaycees as district director and was awarded a senatorship, their highest honor.

She was a former seventh degree Grange member.

Her survivors include a son, Scott Fields; mother Lillian; brothers Richard and wife, Lucy, of Maxatawny and Glenn and wife, Kelly, of Kutztown; sister-in-law Marie Gressley of Germansville, roommate and best friend, Bonnie Walbert; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Mark Gressley.
