Charles M. Snyder, 89, of South Whitehall Township, died June 16, 2017, in ManorCare, Allentown.

He was the husband of the late Grace E. (Mumbauer) Snyder.

Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Victor and Grace (Stauffer) Snyder.

He served in the U.S. Army.

For 47 years, he was a sheet metal worker at Pennsylvania Supply Company.

He was an avid trap shooter, hunter and fisherman.

His survivors include children Jean Snyder, Karen, wife of Michael Polgar, and Charles M. Jr., and wife, Carol; and grandchildren Nathan, Andrea and Alena.
