Mildred A. Wieder, 96, formerly of Allentown, died May 18, 2017, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late William and Mary (Herman) Cook.

She was a seamstress for various mills in the Lehigh Valley.

The oldest living member of Faith Church, Allentown, she was very active there, especially in Seniors in Action.

She frequently volunteered at Cedarbrook before residing there and was an avid bowler at Jordan Lanes for many years.

Her survivors include sons Earl (Sonny) and wife, Francene, of Orefield, Wayne of Schnecksville, and Dennis of Breinigsville; daughters Brenda Faust and husband, Glenn, of Fogelsville, Linda Kain, wife of Kenneth, of Breinigsville; sisters Lorretta Field of Allentown, and Loraine Koch of New Tripoli; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by daughters Janet Johnson and Carole Rosko.
