Joseph Lindenmuth, 82, died peacefully on May 16, 2017, surrounded by family members at his bedside in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

The son of the late George and Lillian (Ward) Lindenmuth, he was the third of 12 children.

He worked for many years at LTV Steel, Cleveland, Ohio, and was the president of United Steel Workers Union Local 2265 for around 20 years before retiring and moving to Florida.

He is survived by daughters Jolene Seale of Arkansas and Melanie (Lindenmuth) Schiffert and her husband, Thomas, of Fogelsville; six brothers and sisters; and his beloved grandchildren Thomas Jr., Tara, Courtney and Christopher. He will be missed.

Services will be at 12:30 p.m. May 26 in Weisenberg Lutheran Church, 7645 Weisenberg Church Road, New Tripoli, where his family will receive guests starting at 11 a.m.

Interment will be private.
