Sylvia C. Mondjack, 75, of North Catasauqua, died May 20, 2017, after a brief battle with cancer.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth M. (Ference) Mondjack.
She was a graduate of Whitehall High School and attended Allentown Business School. She studied art and sculpting at Baum School of Art.
She retired from Agere, formerly Western Electric, after working there for 42 years.
She was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, North Catasauqua.
She was a volunteer grey lady at Allentown General Hospital for 12 years. She had volunteered at Catasauqua Community Thrift Store since 2001.
She is survived by a brother, Bill Mondjack and his wife Carol; a niece, Adele Schwartz Munsterman and her husband Mike and their children Zachary and Elizabeth; and a nephew, William F. Mondjack II and his daughter Freya.
