Becahi Hawks honor college-bound athletes

Bethlehem Catholic honored 18 student-athletes heading to college this fall at a ceremony held last Friday morning.

Michael Labriola heads this year’s class, as the two-time PIAA state wrestling champion will head to Nebraska to compete in the Big 10. Labriola leaves Bethlehem Catholic as its all-time leader with 166 victories.

Fellow teammates Niko Camacho (American University) and Luke Carty (Ithaca College) will also wrestle at the next level.

Neila Luma also leaves Becahi with a state championship on her resume, as she helped the girls basketball team to a PIAA 4A title this winter. It was the first state championship in school history for the program, as Luma heads to Diviosion-I George Washington University.
