A Lehigh Township woman has been charged with prostitution.

According to Lehigh Township police, Linda Michelson, 55, of Pecan Lane, was arrested and charged April 26 with prostitution.

The arrest was the culmination of an ongoing investigation of complaints about a large amount of traffic coming in and out of her residence, the report said.

Police were able to locate several advertisements on known websites where prostitution solicitation occurs and where Michelson had posted advertisements.

According to police, Michelson was arrested after a solicitation occurred where she instructed the undercover officer to come to her home to pay for a sexual encounter.

Michelson had one previous conviction for prostitution in 2004, police said.
