John Kasick, 88, formerly of Allentown, died March 28, 2017, in Whitehall Manor.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of late Simon and Nellie (Yurchak) Kasick.
He was a 1946 graduate of Allentown High School.
He attended business college.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He worked at Mack world headquarters for more than 30 years until he retired.
He was a 50-year member of the Jordan-Martin Lodge 673 F&AM, along with Allen-Beauceant Commandery No. 20 Knights Templar and the Rajah Shrine, Reading.
He is survived by nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Anna Baron and Mary Bonstingl; and two brothers, Samuel and Michael.
