Police were called to Victoria’s Secret, 3300 Lehigh St., 4:24 p.m. April 2 for the report of a retail theft. Staff reported three black women walked into the store and started shoving approximately 100 items into bags. When staff approached one of the women, she said, “Back off or you’re gonna get maced.” The women left the store, ran past Schuylkill Valley Sports and the AT&T store, jumped into a waiting getaway car driven by another black female and drove south toward Wendy’s. The female also threatened Schuylkill Valley Sports personnel with mace. The car is described as a dark colored Honda with an out-of-state plate. Detectives are reviewing mall surveillance video and working with detectives in Maryland and Lancaster where Victoria’s Secret stores have recently been robbed allegedly by the same suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the police station at 610-797-1447.

Police were called to the 1400 block of Seidersville Road for the possible theft of mail from a mailbox 6:05 p.m. March 30. The resident observed a white male going through the mailbox, confronted the male who then put mail in his front pocket, got into a vehicle and drove away. Police are investigating.

A resident in the 800 block of South Main Street reported 8:20 a.m. April 5, an unknown person went through an unlocked vehicle on the property. Nothing was taken.

Police were called to the Arts Academy Charter Middle School, 1610 E. Emmaus Ave., 10 a.m. March 30 for the report of the theft of a blue-tooth speaker.

A resident in the 1200 block of South Potomac Street reported 4:26 p.m. April 2 the theft of a water hose and a trailer hitch ball valued at $80 by a person driving a white older pickup truck canvassing neighborhoods for scrap materials.

A cellphone was reported stolen from a bathroom at Lehigh Valley Health Network - Cedar Crest 7:48 p.m. April 2. Police are investigating.

Ada Alvarado, 30, of Allentown, was charged with theft and receiving stolen goods after allegedly removing $7,500 of items from a Salisbury home 8:18 p.m. March 17.

Police received a report of fraud by an employee of a company in the 2400 block of Parkwood Drive, 9:23 a.m. March 31. Two charges were made on a credit card online totaling $472. Purchases were delivered to an address in Pittsburgh.

Police are investigating missing drugs from Cedar Crest Emergicenter, 1101 S. Cedar Crest Blvd. The theft was reported 11 a.m. March 31.

Police were called to Sheffield Square Apartments, 1701 S. Albert St., 8:14 a.m. April 1 for the report of a strong marijuana smell.

Police were called to Melrose Lane 5 p.m. April 4 for the report of a suspicious vehicle with the occupants smoking marijuana and drinking. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.
