Karen M. Sipos, 71, of North Catasauqua, died March 15, 2017. She was the wife of George T. Sipos for 52 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Dorothea R. (Rabenold) Edmonds.

She and her husband were foster parents for many years for children from the Wiley House, Bethlehem.

She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Todd G. and his wife Celeste of Palmyra, Thomas G. and his wife Marcie of Weatherly and Torrey G. of North Catasauqua; and four grandchildren, Brandon, Justin and his wife Amanda and their son Asher, and Nathaniel and Andrew Sipos.

Services are private.
