Hermina Ivankovits, 89, formerly of Coplay, died in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on Feb. 27, 2017. She was the wife of the late August L. Ivankovits.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Theresa (Polzer) Marth.

She was a graduate of Northampton High School.

She worked for 30 years for the former Western Electric, Allentown, until she retired.

She was, while in Houston after her retirement, involved with Mothers Against Drunk Drivers.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna Berdan; a son-in-law, Robert; and a grandson, Brandon, with whom she resided.

She was predeceased by a son, August J. Ivankovits.

There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. March 11 at St. Peter’s Cemetery, Hokendauqua Street and Parkview Drive, Whitehall.
