Brian D. Meck, 61, of Northampton, died Feb. 27, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg campus, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Sharon R. (Jacobs) Meck for 14 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Donald D. and Joan A. (Litzenberger) Meck.

He was a SP4 in the Army from 1976 until 1980.

He was an HVAC service technician with Steamfitters Local Union 420, Philadelphia, for 16 years until he retired in 2009.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two stepsons, Joey Marx of Greenlane and Tyler Marx of Northampton; and a sister, Sheila and her husband Robert Snyder of Catasauqua.
