Dr. Suess Week will be Feb. 27 through March 3 at both elementary schools.

Students will participate in many different fun activities throughout the week.

Northwestern Elementary

The Book Trade will once again be held at the school.

This year’s event begins with the fifth grade on Feb. 27, fourth grade on Feb. 28, third grade on March 1, second grade on March 2 and first grade will visit the Book Trade on March 3.

Weisenberg Elementary

Weisenberg is enrolled in the Giant A+ School Rewards Program.

Sharing unused children’s books with the PTO during the book drive March 3-17.

New or gently used books for infants through fifth grade are being accepted.

Books will be shared with the school library, teachers classroom library, the Visiting Nurses Association in Allentown and a local elementary school in need.
