Dorothy “Dotty” T. Wallach, 87, formerly of Allentown, died Feb. 3, 2017.
Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Ignatz and Anna (Billowitz) Sauerzopf.
She was a 1947 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.
She worked in the clean room at Western Electric /Lucent Technologies for many years until she retired in 1997. She had earlier worked for the family business, Dutch Maid Noodles.
She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church.
She was a 35-plus-year volunteer at Sacred Heart Hospital.
She is survived by a daughter, Pamela A. and her husband Michael DeAngelo of Allentown; two sons, Theodore M. and his wife Maria T. of Swedesboro, N.J., and Michael T. and his wife Karen of Portland, Oregon; two grandchildren, Kevin and Chrissy and her husband Chad; a sister, Louise and her husband David Morris of Leola; and a brother, Alfred “Fritz” and his wife Angela Sauerzopf.
She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Rothrock.
There will be a calling hour 9 a.m. Feb. 11, followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., both in the church, 618 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, 18052.
