Marjorie E. Weaver, 96, of Macungie, died Jan. 20, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Brighton B. and Katie (Barto) Weaver.

She was a member of Cedar Crest Bible Fellowship Church, Allentown.

She was a former postmaster at the Alburtis Post Office.

She and her sister Dorothy would travel to nursing homes and churches sharing their singing talents.

She is survived by nieces, Jane and her husband Larry Kuhns, Gail and her husband Lin Gehris; nephew, Carey Schmick. She was predeceased by sisters, Mae, Dorothy, Mildred Snyder and Jean Schmick.

Services will be held 2 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Schmoyer Funeral Home, 8926 Brookdale Road, Breinigsville, 18031. A calling hour will be held 1 to 2 p.m. Jan. 25 in the funeral home.
