Mission

Lehigh Valley Business Group, 4418 Wagner Drive, Bethlehem, is looking for amateur or professional chefs for its Health and Wellness Soup Challenge 2-4 p.m. Feb. 25 at the Allentown Rescue Mission, 355 Hamilton St., Allentown.

Ten local chefs are invited to compete in a friendly atmosphere while providing their favorite soups to the homeless men in the rescue mission.

Chefs will create soups with healthy ingredients to provide a healthy meal to the rescue mission residents.

Residents, staff and volunteers will be the judges and will cast their spoons to vote for the best soup in the Lehigh Valley.

Each chef will make five gallons of soup.

Soups must be made with fresh ingredients, no frozen, canned or preservatives or additives allowed.
