John W. Calcante, 73, of Catasauqua, died Jan. 5, 2017.

He was born in Queens, N.Y.

He was the owner of John John’s Floor Waxing and Cleaning Service.

He was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church.

He was a member of Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, Jednota Club and South Warks.

He is survived by children, John W. Dimacopoulos of South Carolina, Diane Ferrara of New York, Pamela McCann of Coplay and Donna Beckmann of New York; six grandchildren, Jessica, Emmett, Diane, Anthony, Francesca and Amanda; and great-granddaughters, Leeya and Olivia.

There will be a calling hour 1-2 p.m., followed by a memorial service 2 p.m., both Jan. 21 at the funeral home, 1064 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.
