LaMar “Lum” A. Stahl, 82, of Emmaus, died Jan. 10, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late William and Adella M. (Garber) Stahl.

He was a truck driver at D.F. Bast 27 years until its closing and then drove a truck for Schwerman, Ryder PIE and Marty’s Express.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School, Class of 1953 and served in the U.S. Army.

He was a member of the Emmaus Moravian Church.

He is survived by his beloved girlfriend for the past 36 years, Elsie J. Kardos, with whom he shared his home; sister, Myrna E. and her husband Clark Kelly. He was predeceased by brothers, LaVerne and Richard.
