Residents of North Catasauqua and Catasauqua surrounding communities are being invited to join a newly formed seniors organization called Catty Seniors Plus. The group will hold an organizational meeting 1 p.m. Jan. 25 at the Jednota Club, 1223 Fifth St., North Catasauqua.

Residents 55 and older are welcome to come.

Officers elected at the St. John Fisher seniors meeting in November will preside over the meeting to organize the new group. The St. John Fisher group disbanded Dec. 31, 2016.

Following a business meeting, coffee and dessert will be served, and bingo games will begin.
