The Community Action Committee of the Lehigh Valley is offering two first-time home- buyer seminars from 8:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 7 and 14 at CACLV, 1337 E. Fifth St., Bethlehem.

The sessions are conducted by a CACLV staff and representatives of local mortgage lenders, insurance agents, realtors and other experts. Topics include preparation for homeownership, the importance of good credit, how to purchase a home, the current housing market, loan products, predatory lending and consumer rights.
