Theresa M. (Stelz- mann) Hertzog, 94, of Walnutport and formerly of Slatington, died Dec. 18, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Michael J. Hertzog.

Born in Nazareth, she was a daughter of the late Peter S. and Mary (Millner) Stelzmann.

She worked in the housekeeping department of the former ASH Hospital, now Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, and Palmerton Hospital for several years before she took retirement. Prior to that, she was a sewing machine operator at various textile mills in the Lehigh Valley.

She was a member of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, Slatington.

She is survived by a son, Larry M. and his wife Cindy Hertzog of Walnutport; a daughter, Joan L., with whom she resided; two grandchildren, Richard B. and his wife Jennifer Hertzog of Emmaus and Kimberly A. and her husband Michael Dunn of Allentown; three great-grandchildren, Zachary and Abigail Dunn and Austin Hertzog; nieces; and nephews.
