Paula I. Mayer, 59, of Coplay, died Dec. 3, 2016, at ManorCare, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Donald M. Mayer for 28 years.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Gladys (Williamson) Katchur.

She was a 1976 graduate of Nazareth High School.

She was a member of Whitehall Bible Fellowship Church, Hokendauqua.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Christine and her husband Frank Werkheiser of Nazareth, Gail and her husband David Johnson of Belfast and Candy Katchur, also of Belfast; nieces; nephews; a father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Patricia Mayer of San Diego, Cali.; and two brothers-in-law, Dennis and Gary Mayer, both of San Diego, Calif.

She was predeceased by a niece, Shawnalai Werkheiser.

There will be a visitation time 10-11 a.m., followed by a memorial service 11 a.m., both Dec. 10 at the church, 3300 Seventh St., Whitehall, 18052.
