JoAnn Wetzel, 74, formerly of Kunkletown, died Nov. 28, 2016, in ManorCare Health Services, Easton.

She was the wife of the late Richard C. Wetzel.

Born June 30, 1942, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late William A. and Edith L. (Barlet) Faust.

She was a sewing machine operator for various textile mills and a cook for several restaurants, all in the Lehigh Valley, before retiring.

She was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

Her survivors include a daughter Deborah A. Messinger and her husband, Terry, of Whitehall; son Randy S. Wetzel and his wife, Kim, of Dobbs Ferry, N.Y.; sister Bonita L. Schneck and her husband, James, of Allentown; and grandchildren Samantha, William and Katie.
