Willard G. Ruch, 103, of Whitehall, died Nov. 19, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. He was the husband of the late Marie R. A. (Hoffman) Ruch.

Born in Ruchsville, he was a son of the late Francis O. and Lottie E. (Bertsch) Ruch.

He was a pneumatic tool repairman for 32 years for Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, until he retired in 1971.

He was the oldest member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs.

He was a member of UAW Local 677.

He is survived by two children, Dorothy M. and her husband David Lakatosh of Schnecksville and Ernest I. of Kutztown; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Patricia E. (Reinhard) Ruch.

There will be a calling hour 1-2 p.m., followed by a service 2 p.m., both Nov. 25 at the funeral home, 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville. Interment will follow at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
