Shirley A. Buss, 87, of Catasauqua, died Nov. 14, 2016. She was the wife of the late Robert J. Buss Sr.

Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Frederick P. and Alice C. (Leuthold) Schroeder.

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Kreidersville.

She was a member of the former Catasauqua Women’s Auxiliary.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara K. and her husband Robert Shipe of Catasauqua; a son, Robert J. II, with whom she resided; four grandchildren, Robert F. Shipe III, Benjamin P. Shipe, Jesse T. Buss and Elizabeth A. Buss; and a daughter-in-law, Judith L. Buss of Bethlehem.

She was predeceased by a son, Thomas P. Buss.
