Bob and Joan Jones celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with friends and family Nov. 12 at Wild Cherry Knoll Clubhouse, Lower Macungie Township.

The couple was married in 1966 at Transfiguration Roman Catholic Church, Hazleton.

Bob’s brother, Tom, was best man. Joan’s sister-in-law, Kay Swiech, was maid of honor.

The couple are active members of St. Ann Church, Emmaus; Lower Macungie Seniors; St. Ann Primetime; and St. Thomas More Primetime.

Celebrating with them were their sons, Rob of Lancaster and his children, Zack and Lexi; Walter of Mooresville, N.C., his wife Debbie and their children, Graham and Erin; and daughter Marla Kurtz, her husband John and their children, Jason and Jenna of Lower Macungie Township.
