Sounds of the season:It’s beginning to sound a lot like Christmas. Brian Setzer, guitarist, songwriter, vocalist and three-time Grammy-Award winner, brings his 19-piece The Brian Setzer Orchestra back to the State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton, 7 p.m. Nov. 20. The 13th annual tour features music from the group’s latest Christmas album, “Rockin’’ Rudolph”; music from three previous holiday albums, and original material from the album, “Brian Setzer.” The 12-track “Rockin’ Rudolph” includes “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree,” “Yabba-Dabba Yuletide” and “Rockabilly Rudolph.” Opening act is Beat Root Revival. Heavy and heavier:Vanilla Fudge and Joey Molland’s Badfinger perform at 8 p.m. Nov. 18, Penn’s Peak, Jim Thorpe. Vanilla Fudge, including original members Mark Stein, organist; Carmine Appice, drummer, and Vince Martell, lead guitar, plus Pete Bremy, bass, had a psychedelic Top 10 hit in 1967 with its version of The Supreme’s “You Keep Me Hangin’ On,” a forerunner of rock’s heavy-metal sound. “Still” Brosky:Steve Brosky has a CD release concert for his latest, “Still,” 8 p.m. Nov. 23, Fowler Blast Furnace Room, ArtsQuest Center, SteelStacks, 101 Founders Way, Bethlehem.
