Irene Dranchak, 97, of Northampton, died Oct. 24, 2016, at home. She was the wife of the late Basil Dranchak.

Born in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late Wasko and Mary (Jayosky) Malast.

She worked for many years at D&D Shirt Factory.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.

She is survived by a son, Dennis and his companion Peggy; a granddaughter, Nicole; two great-grandchildren, Bennett and Kennedy Anne; and a sister, Olga Yerk of Allentown.
