William R. Keinert, 82, of Stiles, died Oct. 22, 2016, at home. He was the husband of Anne Marie (Puffer) Keinert for 58 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Homer F. and Margaret M. (Solt) Keinert.

He was in the 7th Army in Germany during peace time.

He was a truck driver for Electro Chemical for 40 years until he retired in 1996. He then assisted with the family business, Tasty Pastry.

He was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Fullerton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Christine and her husband Alan Beck of Bethlehem and Caroline Sickonic of Palmerton; a son, William R. Jr. of Coplay; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
