Wilkes University awarded 372 doctoral, master’s and bachelor’s degrees to students graduating after the completion of the summer 2016 semester.
Area students on the list included:
Allentown: Charles Carnes, Galit Cohen, Scott Exaros, Rebecca Filipos, Amy Hoy, Zachary LaBar, all received a Master of Science in education and Michelle Minotti received a Doctor of Education in educational administration;
Breinigsville: David Brown, Ashley Glick, both received a Master of Science in education;
Orefield: Ryan Kleintop, received a Master of Science in education; and
Schnecksville: Shannon Williams received a Master of Science in education.
Muhlenberg
Jacob Najarian of Kempton was named to the dean’s list for the 2016 spring semester at Muhlenberg College, Allentown.
Najarian, a 2014 graduate of Northwestern Lehigh High School, is a math major in the Class of 2018, a defensive end on Muhlenberg’s varsity football team, and has been thrice consecutively named to the dean’s list. The dean’s list honors students who achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher out of a possible 4.0 while completing a minimum of 12 semester hours.

Sarah Lundeen was named to the College of Arts and Sciences dean’s list for the spring 2016 semester at American University, Washington, D.C.
Students must earn a grade point average of 3.67 to earn dean’s list status.
Lundeen is a 2013 graduate of Parkland High School.
