Bath: Legion plans basket social
The Bath Legion, 278 Race St., will be holding a basket social 5-9 p.m. Oct. 28, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Oct. 29 and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 30.
There will be hundreds of baskets!

A Halloween costume party will be held Oct. 29 in the Bath Fire Company social hall.
Doors open 6 p.m. Dinner will be held 6:30-8 p.m.
Lo and Behold will entertain 8 p.m.-midnight.
There will be costume judging and prizes.

Petersville Rod and Gun Club, 550 Club Road, will be having a Halloween dance 7-11 p.m. Oct. 29. Doors open 6 p.m. Costumes are optional.
Sound Surge Mobile DJ will entertain.
Food available includes beef barbecue, hot dogs and sauerkraut, homemade macaroni and cheese, chips, pretzels, pickles and olives. Drinks include beer, soda, water, coffee and hot tea.

Klecknersville Rangers Volunteer Fire Company, 2718 Mountain View Drive, will be holding a penny party Oct. 30. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and playing begins 1 p.m.
Bring your own pennies or purchase some at the event.
Highlights of the day include games of chance, a Chinese auction and Thanksgiving basket raffle.
The kitchen will be open noon and throughout the event.
The fire company also will hold an indoor flea market 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Nov. 6.

St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E. Main St., will be holding a spaghetti dinner Oct. 30 to benefit Bath Area Food Bank.
Doors open 3 p.m. The meal will be served 4-7 p.m.
A basket auction will take place, and all proceeds from the auction and dinner will benefit the food bank.
No sign-ups or reservations are required.
