Helen M. Betz, 90, formerly of Coplay, died Oct. 7, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late William J. Betz Sr.

Born in Stiles, she was a daughter of the late Franck Yandrasitz and Helen (Strasser) Yandrasitz Klucsarits and the stepdaughter of the late Frank Klucsarits.

She was a sewing machine operator.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Coplay, and of the church’s altar and rosary society.

She is survived by a son, William J. Jr. and his wife Nancy; two daughters, Karen A. Harding and Sharon A. Silfies and her companion Jules Fidler; three grandchildren, Zachary, Mason and Ryan Harding; and a brother, William Yandrasitz.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Frisina, Rose Laubach and Hilda Rothdeutsch; and two brothers, Frank and John Yandrasitz.
