Edward Kraynik, 83, of Washington Township and formerly of Coplay, died recently at Fellowship Manor, Whitehall. He was the husband of Theresa M. (Tanzos) for 57 years.
Born in Stiles, he was a son of the late Andrew and Anna (Martincek) Kraynik.
He was a graduate of Whitehall High School and attended Penn State University.
He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and was a Korean War veteran.
He retired as a section manager at Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, after 40 years.
He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, Coplay.
He was a third degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 528, Allentown.
He was a member of Coplay Saengerbund and volunteered with Coplay Sports.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Karen Panik of Schnecksville; and three grandchildren, Emily, Jacob and Sarah.
He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Lauren; and five siblings, John, Helen Lesser, Andrew Jr., Ann Wescoe and Joseph.
