The Albany Rownship Historical Society will present “Ulysses Grant in Living History, 7:30-9:30 p.m. Oct. 14 at the Kempton Community Center.

Ken Serfass, professional living historian, will bring famed Civil War general and U.S. President Ulysses S. Grant to life.

Serfass has been an active civil was re-enactor and impressionist since his boyhood in Pennsylvania.

From forty years of study of his self-avowed childhood hero, US Grant, Serfass has created a niche telling the tale of Grant’s life and the honorable service of his armies, as well as debunking myths of Grant’s career as a soldier and president.

Admission is free and open to all. Light refreshments will be served.
