The exhibit, “The American Presidency,” opens 1 p.m. Oct. 1, Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, 432 W. Walnut St., Allentown. Featured are Presidential portraits, campaign buttons, commemorative pieces and items related to presidents Abraham Lincoln, Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Harry Truman.

On opening day, there’s a program and one-day display of two authentic documents written in George Washington’s hand on loan from the National Park Service.
