Allentown Public Library’s free film series returns on Saturdays at 2 p.m. in the Community Room, 1210 Hamilton St., Allentown.

This monthly film series at the library will feature award-winning foreign films, independent movies, and documentaries.

No ticket is required. Admission is free.

The movies are for audiences age 17 and older.

· Oct. 22: “Theeb” - In this adventure tale set in the far corners of the Ottoman Empire during World War I, a Bedouin boy who comes from a family of pilgrims guides must use all of his acquired skills to survive a desert journey gone seriously awry. The movie is in Arabic with English subtitles.
