Pioneer fest

Lynn-Heidelberg Historical Society’s Pioneer Festival will be held 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Ontelaunee Park, 7344 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.

This event will be held rain or shine.

There will be guided tours of the Pioneer Village, the Tripoli Train Station and Mail Pouch Tobacco Barn.

There will also be an interactive pioneer demonstrations.

Featured entertainment will be Native American traditions from 9:30 a.m.-noon; antique car and farm equipment parade noon-1 p.m. and the cover band Kartun from 1-4 p.m.

Homemade Pa. Dutch fare and baked goods will be available.

There will be a Pa. Dutch silent auction and basket raffle, various vendors and local favorites.
