Gerald C. Wisser, 91, died Sept. 16, 2016, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. He was the husband of the late Ethel R. (Ray) Wisser.

Born in West Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Herbert and Edna (Heffelfinger) Wisser.

He was a WW II U.S. Navy veteran and was in the South Pacific aboard the USS Salamonie.

He was a supervisor for 20 years for Hanover Homes before he retired in 2005.

He was a member of St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Whitehall.

He was a member of the Fullerton American Legion Post 367 and Fullerton Fire Company No. 1.

He is survived by a daughter, Nancy and her husband Raymond Redcay of Bethlehem; two sons, Robert and his wife Rebecca of Stroudsburg and Gerald and his wife Teracina of Pittsburgh; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
