Anna Ifkovits, 88, formerly of Northampton and Coplay, died Sept. 15, 2016. She was the wife of the late John “Ifky” P. Ifkovits for 54 years.

Born in Whitehall and raised in Austria, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Guttman) Nikischer.

She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church and its altar and rosary society.

She was a member of the Friendly Fifties of St. John’s, Northampton.

She is survived by five children, Dr. John and his wife Judi of Bethlehem, Joann and her husband Jeff Lehr of Virginia Beach, Va., James and his companion Shari Haney of Catasauqua, Joseph and his wife Alicia of Laurys Station and Julie of Newnan, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and an expected third great-grandchild.
