In honor of 25 years in business, Marc’s Auto will host a free public event at North Catasauqua Park 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sept. 11.

Flirting with the Mob will provide entertainment. There will be hot dogs and soft drinks.

North Catasauqua Fire Department also will be there giving out ice cream.

North Catasauqua We Sing Community Chorus will present a choral concert, “A Patriotic Tribute,” 3 p.m. Sept. 25 at St. Mary’s Church, 122 Union St., Catasauqua.

Doors will open 2:30 p.m.

A free-will offering will benefit the Catasauqua American Legion post.

The Catasauqua Thrift Shop is closed this week for cleaning and seasonal change-over. It will reopen Sept. 12 with all new items for fall and winter.

Stop in during normal business hours 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Donations of good used clean clothing are accepted during store operation hours.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the Catasauqua, North Catasauqua and Hanover Township Lehigh County communities through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
